Afraid:
When Casper is high, he is fearless. He believes that he can do anything. He is superman. No one can touch him when he’s high. That’s part of the reason he’s so scared to be sober. When he’s sober all the the things he’s scared of come running back to him. He ends up not wanting to move or speak to anyone when he’s sober. Casper basically hides when he’s sober and afraid. He just curls up somewhere and hopes he’ll either fine the energy to get a new high going or just die. It doesn’t help that when he’s depressive he doesn’t feel much at all and when he’s manic he’ll just at any loud sound.
